caramel sauce

chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Gradually add the flour and baking powder, mixing until just combined.
Roll into balls and place on the prepared baking sheet. Make an indentation in the center of each ball with your thumb.
Fill each indentation with caramel sauce. Bake for 15-20 minutes until lightly golden.
Once out of the oven, sprinkle with chocolate chips while warm. Let cool before serving.
