  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Gradually add the flour and baking powder, mixing until just combined.
  • Roll into balls and place on the prepared baking sheet. Make an indentation in the center of each ball with your thumb.
  • Fill each indentation with caramel sauce. Bake for 15-20 minutes until lightly golden.
  • Once out of the oven, sprinkle with chocolate chips while warm. Let cool before serving.

These cookies can be stored in an airtight container for up to a week.
