  • 1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • ½ tsp. black pepper
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • ½ cup honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  • Pat dry the chicken thighs and season generously with salt and pepper.
  • Melt 3 tablespoons of butter in a cast-iron skillet over medium heat and sear the chicken thighs for 5–7 minutes on each side.
  • Remove the chicken from the skillet and stir in remaining butter, honey, garlic, and soy sauce, letting it simmer for 3–4 minutes.
  • Return the chicken to the skillet, coating it in the honey butter sauce.
  • Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve with rice or vegetables.

Notes

Let chicken sit at room temperature for 15 minutes before cooking for better results.
