Instructions
Begin by preheating your pan over medium heat. Brush one side of each slice of sourdough bread lightly with olive oil.
On the un-oiled side of one slice, spread a generous tablespoon of Dijon mustard.
Layer your sandwich by starting with a slice of Swiss cheese, then add the turkey, bacon, fresh arugula, and avocado slices. Top it off with another slice of Swiss cheese and the second piece of sourdough.
Carefully place the sandwich in the preheated pan, oiled side down. Press down gently with a spatula and cook for about 3-4 minutes until the bread is golden brown and crispy.
Flip the sandwich carefully and cook the other side until both sides are golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
Remove the sandwich from the pan and let it rest for a minute before slicing it in half to serve.
