Method
- Minced garlic and finely chop the chilies.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large wok or skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Add garlic and chopped chilies to the oil, stirring for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add ground beef to the skillet and cook, breaking it apart, until browned, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, and sugar; cook for another minute until combined.
- Add fresh Thai basil leaves and stir-fry for another minute until the basil wilts.
- Serve the Thai Basil Beef over jasmine rice and top with a fried egg if desired.
