Ingredients

Group: Salmon and Marinade
  • 2 fillets salmon, about 6 oz each
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. honey
  • 1 Tbsp. rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp. minced ginger
  • 1 tsp. minced garlic
  • ½ tsp. sesame oil
  • sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish (optional)

Equipment

  • Air fryer
  • Shallow dish or resealable bag
  • Whisk
  • Pastry brush

Method

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, ginger, garlic, and sesame oil until well combined.
  2. Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish or resealable bag, pour the marinade over, and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Remove the salmon from the marinade and place it in the air fryer basket. Cook for 8-10 minutes, depending on desired doneness.
  5. In the last minute of cooking, brush some of the reserved marinade over the salmon for extra flavor.
  6. Remove the salmon once done, garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions, and serve.

Notes

Marinate the salmon overnight for amplified flavors and ensure to monitor the cooking time to keep the salmon moist.
