Delicious Cinnamon Roll Icing Recipe

A quick and easy icing to elevate your cinnamon rolls, whisked together with just a few simple ingredients for a perfect finish.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1-2 Tbsp. milk (adjust for desired thickness)
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • a pinch of salt

Method
 

  1. Sift powdered sugar into a mixing bowl to prevent lumps.
  2. Add vanilla extract and whisk to combine.
  3. Incorporate 1 tablespoon of milk, whisk until smooth.
  4. Adjust the icing thickness by adding more milk if necessary.
  5. Stir in a pinch of salt to balance sweetness.
  6. Drizzle over warm cinnamon rolls after cooling for about 10 minutes.

Notes

This icing can be made up to a week in advance and stored in the refrigerator.
