- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Gradually add the flour and baking powder, mixing until just combined.
- Roll into balls and place on the prepared baking sheet. Make an indentation in the center of each ball with your thumb.
- Fill each indentation with caramel sauce. Bake for 15-20 minutes until lightly golden.
- Once out of the oven, sprinkle with chocolate chips while warm. Let cool before serving.
