Method
- Start by greasing an 8-inch square baking tin with a bit of unsalted butter.
- Put the digestives in a large zip-top bag, and crush them until they're broken into small chunks.
- In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine dark chocolate, milk chocolate, unsalted butter, and golden syrup. Stir gently until melted and glossy.
- Add a pinch of sea salt to the melted chocolate mixture. Pour the crushed biscuits into the melted chocolate mixture and stir gently.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking tin, pressing it down firmly with a spatula.
- Place the tin in the refrigerator and allow it to set for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
- Once set, lift the tiffin out of the tin and cut into squares.
