  • 2 Tbsp. unsalted butter
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar, packed
  • 1 Tbsp. granulated sugar
  • ¼ tsp. vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • a pinch salt
  • 2 Tbsp. chocolate chips (semi-sweet recommended)

Equipment

  • Microwave-safe bowl
  • Spatula
  • Ramekin

Method
 

  1. Melt the butter in a microwave-safe bowl.
  2. Mix in brown sugar and granulated sugar until glossy.
  3. Add vanilla extract and mix well.
  4. Gradually add flour and salt, mixing gently.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips.
  6. Pour mixture into a small ramekin and microwave on high for 40-60 seconds.
  7. Let cool for a minute or two before enjoying!

Notes

Be careful not to overcook; the cookie should have a slight jiggle in the center when done.
