Kinder Bueno Protein Mug Cake

A quick and easy protein mug cake that combines rich chocolate flavor with the luxurious taste of hazelnut spread for a guilt-free indulgence.

Ingredients
  

Group: Dry Ingredients
  • 30 g chocolate protein powder preferably rich whey protein for creamy texture
  • 1 Tbsp. almond flour
  • ½ tsp. baking powder
  • 1 Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 Tbsp. sweetener of choice like erythritol or honey
Group: Wet Ingredients
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 Tbsp. almond milk or any milk of choice
  • 1 Tbsp. hazelnut spread for that Kinder Bueno taste
Group: Toppings
  • 1 Tbsp. crushed hazelnuts for topping

Equipment

  • Microwave
  • Microwave-safe mug
  • Whisk or fork

Method
 

  1. In a microwave-safe mug, mix together the dry ingredients until well combined.
  2. Add the wet ingredients and whisk gently until you achieve a glossy batter.
  3. Microwave on high for 60-90 seconds, keeping an eye on it until it rises and is set.
  4. Allow to cool slightly, then top with crushed hazelnuts and enjoy warm.

Notes

Cooking time may vary based on microwave wattage. Enjoy it warm for the best texture!
