Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats Organic preferred
  • 1 cup milk of your choice Almond or oat milk works well
  • 1 ripe banana The browner, the better!
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • a pinch salt
Group: Flavor and Toppings
  • ¼ cup Nutella Ensure freshness for better flavor
  • Optional toppings Sliced banana, chopped hazelnuts, or extra Nutella

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Baking dish 8x8 inch recommended
  • Oven Preheat to 350°F

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a blender, combine rolled oats, milk, ripe banana, baking powder, and salt. Blend until smooth.
  3. Add Nutella to the blender and pulse briefly to combine, leaving some swirls for a marbled effect.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish or ramekins, making sure to scrape every bit from the blender.
  5. Bake for about 25-30 minutes until golden brown and firm around the edges.
  6. Allow it to cool slightly before serving. Top with optional toppings if desired.

Notes

This recipe keeps well in the fridge for up to 3 days. You can also freeze portions for later use.
