Festive Rosemary Clementine Margarita

A festive Rosemary Clementine Margarita perfect for holiday gatherings!

  • 2 oz tequila (blanco preferred)
  • 1 oz freshly squeezed clementine juice (about 2 clementines)
  • 1 oz rosemary simple syrup (homemade recommended)
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • ice cubes
  • 2 tablespoon sugar (for rim)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (for rim)
  • 2 tablespoon pomegranate seeds (for garnish)
  • fresh rosemary sprigs (for garnish)

Method
 

  1. Prepare the rosemary simple syrup by combining water, sugar, and rosemary in a saucepan, bringing it to a simmer. Strain after 30 minutes.
  2. Mix sugar and ground cinnamon on a plate. Rim your glass with clementine juice and dip into the mixture.
  3. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine tequila, clementine juice, rosemary simple syrup, and lime juice. Shake for 15 seconds.
  4. Strain the mixture into the prepared glass filled with ice.
  5. Garnish with pomegranate seeds and a sprig of rosemary.
  6. Sip slowly and enjoy!

Notes

The rosemary simple syrup can be made ahead and stored in the fridge for up to two weeks.
