  • 1 cup sour cream

  • 1 cup cooked rice (optional)

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked shredded chicken, French onion soup, sour cream, and rice if using. Mix until well blended.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13-inch casserole dish.
  5. Top the casserole generously with shredded cheese.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes until golden brown on top.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Allow the casserole to rest for a few minutes before serving to enhance the flavors.
